Collision Course Concert Series: Brooklyn Edition Sets the Bar High at Seven House Gallery

BROOKLYN, NY – June 29, 2025 — The Collision Course Concert Series touched down in Brooklyn this summer with a powerful mix of music, art, and culture that transformed Seven House Gallery into a full-spectrum celebration of independent artistry. Curated by RockLan One and co-curated by Sha Black with support from Taona House, the Brooklyn edition proved why this series has become a national staple for rising talent and creative collaboration. It was more than just a show - it was a cultural convergence that lit up the heart of Brooklyn.

From the moment doors opened at 4 PM, DJ sets kicked off the evening, the energy was magnetic. The summer sun poured through the glass facade of Seven House as the first wave of attendees stepped into a space that felt both raw and refined. DJs G Money and DJ Beezy filled the air with a vibrant mix of boom-bap, trap soul, and nostalgic cuts that echoed through the exposed brick walls like the heartbeat of the underground. The scent of seasoned wings and savory pasta drifted from the open kitchen area, mingling with laughter, introductions, and clinking glasses.

As the gallery warmed with bodies and buzz, Wizard Craig and DJ Brian Starchild took over, raising the energy with their seamless transitions and selections that blurred genres. By 6 PM, as art and sound began to take center stage, the room had become a sanctuary for sonic expression - lights dimmed just enough to highlight the artwork while the sound pulsed with precision.

The walls of the gallery came alive with curated artwork by Thee Nai Bandz, showcasing mixed-media pieces, canvas prints, and vibrant illustrations that celebrated identity, resilience, and community. Each piece seemed to react to the music, creating an interactive experience where sight and sound converged. Guests moved freely through the space, sipping drinks, snapping selfies, and connecting with creators in real time.

The venue itself - Seven House Gallery - was the perfect setting. Industrial yet intimate, the 800-square-foot space featured exposed brick and polished concrete, softened by warm lighting and a chandelier centerpiece that created an inviting contrast between edge and elegance. Edison bulbs hung low over the merch tables, while spotlights illuminated the performers with cinematic intensity. The gallery’s professional-grade sound system, PA setup, high-lumen projector, and flatscreen monitor ensured every performance was seen and heard with clarity and impact. Sunday’s crowd was near capacity throughout the evening.

The vibe was elevated by a fully stocked bar that included signature cocktails, premium spirits, and local brews. Bartenders shook and stirred with flair, crafting drinks like the “Collision Cooler” and “Seven House Sunset,” which quickly became crowd favorites. Guests also indulged in a mouthwatering food selection that featured creamy pasta dishes, crispy wings, and savory steak or chicken-stuffed rolls. The food, catered by a local chef, was the perfect fuel for a night of music and movement, with plates being passed around communal-style among new friends and old.

Meanwhile, the Taona House merch table saw nonstop traffic, offering exclusive streetwear drops including embroidered hoodies, graphic tees, and snapbacks. Patrons were excited to grab gear straight from the artists and curators, with many items selling out by the end of the night. RockLan One Magazine was in the building capturing moments and giving away limited-edition issues featuring stories on independent artists and behind-the-scenes glimpses at the Collision Course legacy. RL1 Radio was broadcasting live from the venue, extending the experience to listeners nationwide and creating a ripple effect across social media as attendees posted clips and reactions in real-time.

The night’s lineup featured a compelling mix of talent that underscored the diversity and vibrancy of the independent music scene. DatsJustice electrified the stage with a high-octane set that included “Luxury Sex and Drugs,” “Ride The Wave,” “Toxic,” and the crowd favorite “Faded All Day.” His dynamic presence and seamless transitions between tracks sparked crowd call-backs and chants, instantly turning the room into a celebration of energy and style. Jay Brick followed with precision and confidence, delivering back-to-back bangers like “Flex” and the introspective “IDK.” His tight flow and commanding mic presence drew in the audience and kept the momentum soaring.

Kiwi Sweet brought fierce lyricism and magnetic charisma, performing “Get It Together” and “Ask Me” with assertive poise that resonated deeply with the audience. Her blend of confidence and lyrical depth marked her as a standout. TeeJaeSoHigh introduced a more soulful and reflective vibe with his street poetry on tracks like “Associates” and “Clips,” layered over a haunting melodic beat that lingered long after his set ended. Juno Central then lit up the room with energetic anthems such as “Illest,” “Like Him,” “Nobody Reala,” and “Sip Tea.” His high-energy delivery and crowd engagement had the room bouncing from wall to wall.

MiniCoops offered a powerful blend of vulnerability and bravado with her inspiring “Already Won” and the introspective “W.I.W.D.,” captivating the room with heartfelt authenticity. Additional performances by Pierre Parle, King Hazel, Angel Dust, Skip the Grinder, Gilles Casanova, Party G, DeCoster, ExoDaYoungan, and Trece 7ev brought their own unique voices and textures to the show, each contributing raw talent and an undeniable connection with the crowd. Together, these performances created a dynamic and memorable night that celebrated the spirit of independent music in all its forms.

Hosted by RockLan One, Sha Black, and special guest Grafh, the night flowed seamlessly from showcase to afterparty. Grafh’s presence was met with enthusiastic applause, as the veteran lyricist mingled with fans, shared gems with aspiring emcees, and reminded everyone of the roots and rewards of independent hustle. As performances concluded around 10 PM, signaling the transition to afterparty vibes, Wizard Craig and DJ Brian Starchild returned to the decks, transforming the gallery into an after-hours lounge. Colored lights washed over the room, casting a moody glow as artists and guests shared drinks, stories, and laughter while soaking up the final beats of the night.
